The Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) will host two free application preparation webinars to discuss the guidelines and online application process for FY24 Programming & Capacity Building Project Grants (PCBPG). The webinars will also cover navigating the online SurveyMonkey Apply (SM Apply) grants portal.
The webinars will take place on:
- Monday, February 6, 2023 from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
- Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Both webinars will cover the same material. Instructions on how to join will be sent via email to registrants on the day of the webinar.
We recommend that attendees use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to join the webinar and access the online application.
New applicants are highly encouraged to attend a webinar. Attending preparation webinars is not required, however all applicants are highly encouraged attend. It is strongly recommended that webinar attendees read the FY24 PCBPG guidelines beforehand and come prepared with questions. About this Grant Category
Programming & Capacity Building Project Grants (PCBPG) are available to arts and/or humanities organizations and groups located in Montgomery County, MD that may or may not be incorporated as non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status. Grant awards support projects for organizations and groups that work in a wide array of arts and humanities disciplines including performing arts, media arts, visual arts, literary arts, folk and traditional arts, history, and philosophy. Grants for FY24 will be awarded for activities occurring between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024.
Award amounts range from $1,000 up to $10,000. Requests for over $5,000 require the applicant to submit proof of 501(c)(3) status.
